What we aren’t about
We aim to have a virtual space unlike any other – not for networking! We have created the opportunity to simply offload & collaborate, to explore solutions and get advice from different viewpoints and to leave each week with an outcome that could improve and innovate the way you work.
Our aims and goals
We are here to offer support and guidance along the way, but the aim is to collaborate with group members by sharing your ideas and gaining constructive feedback, to be an open door dynamic drop-in session for you, and to create a space for some knowledge transfer. This group is specific to the Manufacturing, Engineering and Construction Industries so you can get down to business and problem solve!
We were founded in 2019, however Hana herself has over 15 years of industry experience and is a true engineer at heart. From Lean Continuous Improvement, various Operations and Project Management roles to Head of Digital, Hana has much technical knowledge complimented by strong facilitation and change management skills under her belt.
"I'm passionate to support Traditional Factories move towards Factories of the Future, One Quick Win at a Time... Technology does not have to be high cost high risk, and Consultants can be hands on and practical ! Most improvements are about standing back, thinking differently and challenging the status quo"
"Throughout my career I have most enjoyed the full problem solving process: from diagnosing problems, to kicking about ideas and turning them into practical solutions. Of course problems are easier to solve the more brains and view points you involve...
I aim to provide a weekly time out and head space for like minded individuals, who are likely to be experiencing similar operational or externally influenced issues, an opportunity to come together to genuinely support and collaborate, and who knows what gems of genius we may create!"
"I’ve been working in the Manufacturing, Process, Energy and Water Treatment industries for more than 35 years. I’m a chartered electrical engineer, with education and training in automation, controls and instrumentation.
I started MAT in 1993, partly because I felt that clients were not receiving the level of understanding and engagement that I wanted to give them. I believed then, as I do now, that engineering is not just about designing within a narrow specialist area, but is about solving problems particularly where technology and human meet, so they can co-exist with the best benefits."
"I would like to provide the means for manufacturing businesses to share a problem away from their pressured environment - with other technical experts who are not embedded with preconceived ideas. I want to be able to help restart a route to a nagging solution or help validate an existing thought process. Hey, if we manage to help someone completely solve a problem, I’d be delighted!"
